Giulia Biselli is a human rights specialist with several years of professional experience in assessing, monitoring and evaluating labour conditions and potential human rights violations in diverse geographical contexts in both private and public sectors.
She is the co-founder of BST Impact sàrl where she acts as Head of Partnerships and Institutional Relations with a focus on Business Development in the Asia-Pacific region. She is also a founding member of Diligentia ETS, a community of international associations promoting guidelines and standards of sustainability and CSR.
Previously she has worked for different private companies in Italy, Switzerland and China in multi-stakeholder engagement, and she has then moved to serve in the Italian military for the Air Force and worked for the Italian Ministry of Defense as a political analyst and public relations officer.
She has broad experience as a human rights analyst and investigator and she has supported the creation and development of assessment tools and frameworks to verify adherence to international standards and investigate risks related to human rights abuses through data collection, research, analysis and reporting while working with international organizations such as the World Health Organization, as well as grassroots NGOs.
Giulia holds a MA in International Relations from the LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome, a Master of Law in Diplomacy and International Criminal Law from the China Foreign Affairs University of Beijing, and an MBA in Humanitarian Law and Disaster Management from the Niccolò Cusano University of Rome.
