John Newton

As Central Government Account Director, John and his team act as the single point of contact between Central Government Departments & their Arm’s-Length Bodies and CCS. His career started in MoD Procurement where he worked in various roles in DE&S, DIO, DGDC and JFC for over 20 years before moving to the Home Office Commercial for 5 years in Counter Terrorism, DDaT & ESMCP. Alongside Tammy Carter and David Wharton, John supports the CCS Net Carbon Zero Programme and is an active member of the CNZ Delivery Team.
