John Booth

John Booth is a well-known figure in global data centre energy efficiency and sustainability circles and contributes to a number of organisations on the topic of data centre sustainability, including the BSI TCT7/3 committee which developed the EN 50600 and ISO 30134 series of standards in conjunction with international partners, the EU -Joint Research Centre where he reviews applications for and is the joint author of the EU Code of Conduct for Data Centres (Energy Efficiency),  The BCS Green IT SG where he is the  Vice-Chair, the Data Centre Alliance where he is the chair of the Energy Efficiency SIG and sits on the Sustainability SIG Committee, the Infrastructure Masons Sustainability Committee and the advisory board of the Sustainable Digital Infrastructure Alliance.

He is the owner of Carbon3IT Ltd and the Technical Director of the National Data Centre Academy, and the associate director of Gaia Edge.
