Andy Joynson

Andy brings change into operations.  He’s led by a desire to find new and positive ways to answer today’s challenges.  Finding ways for supply chains and factories to be different and to demonstrate how they can be more sustainable for the planet and people who work there.  He joined innocent drinks in 2019 to build the earth’s favourite little healthy drinks factory in Rotterdam, ‘the blender’.

Under his leadership, the blender dramatically reduces innocent’s overall carbon footprint.  It will be carbon neutral, incorporating the newest ideas to conserve and upcycle and to source renewable energy.  It will also maximise water conservation and recycling of resources, utilising innovative technology specifically developed for the blender.  The blender will achieve the highest standards of construction for sustainability in the materials used and in design for an environment that takes care of people’s wellbeing.

Andy studied Engineering at Loughborough University of Technology and started his career at Cadbury.  He then worked in senior Supply Chain roles across a range of food & drink businesses, both manufacturing and retail, including PepsiCo, Cott, Morrisons & Warburtons.
